Gavin Barrie, a Mauchline resident, has been deeply entrenched in Ayrshire’s farming community throughout his life. He pursued his passion by studying agriculture and agricultural engineering at Auchincruive Agricultural College, honing his expertise in the field.
Currently employed as an animal health representative at McCaskies, Gavin’s dedication extends beyond his professional life. He has served as the Past Master of Lodge Tarbolton (Kilwinning) St James No. 135 and currently holds the position of Treasurer. Gavin is also the treasurer, and highly esteemed member, of the Bachelors’ Club Committee.
His knowledge of Robert Burns and his remarkable wit make him a sought-after speaker at Burns Suppers, both locally and afar.
